6 foody kids between us to test our food!
We would like to thank Nadia and the team from "Good Thyme Gourmet" for the excellent food and service they provided.
We had a New Year’s Eve function at our home in Mount Martha for New Year’s Eve 2016 and did not feel like cooking and were put in contact with Nadia through "Holiday Shacks" on the Mornington Peninsula. Very grateful to them for that.
Good Thyme Gourmet responded immediately and the menu selection was brilliant and we had a lot to choose from as the menus were so varied with formal and informal dining.
The canapes were so delicious it left us wanting more, especially the goat’s cheese croquettes with a pear and beetroot salad, mushroom and tallegio arancini, and the mini steak sandwiches with scarmoza cheese and caramalised onion on brioche. Yum!!
The sweet selection was to die for and nothing was left on our plates. Must mention the chocolate passionfruit ganache with gold shards, was magical.
All this was delivered by Nadia on New Year’s Eve to us in Mount Martha, all pre-prepared and in containers ready to be served later.
I strongly recommend to anyone seeking a fantastic catering company, to go online at : nadia@goodthymegourmet.com.au for a wonderful experience you will not ever forget.
Thank you Nadia once again for your great help, friendliness and fantastic advice and exceptionally delectable food!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was a pleasure to discover your company, and will be looking forward to having you cater for us again very soon.
Warmest wishes and thanks

We recently engaged Nadia and Rachel of Good Thyme Gourmet to cater for our daughter’s 21st birthday party at our home.
They were very easy and professional to work with and were more than happy to assist us with menu selection, party details, etc.
On the night of the party they arrived on time, presented themselves in a highly professional manner and most importantly produced a beautiful selection of finger food that had our guests raving about the quality and presentation.
They removed the stress completely of having to think about food as well as everything else, when hosting a large party at home.
We would highly recommend them.

Hi Nadia,
Thanks so much for doing such a great and fuss-free job at the weekend. The food was spectacular and exactly what we had asked for: simple, fresh, healthy, delicious and effortlessly providing for multiple dietary needs.
Saturday night's dinner was as special as we had hoped. Extremely high quality meat used in the burgers and the marinaded chicken was to die for!!
Your team were a delight to have around at the event and you dealt with being practically IN the workshop room very well!
Hope to work together again.

I was lucky enough to grow up in a home where good food and creativity was what eating was all about. The occasional Friday night fish & chips and party food notwithstanding.
My passion for cooking grew early. My father had a restaurant where I spent time during my school holidays and inspired me to enter into a chef's apprenticeship. Working in mainly fine dining establishments I had the privilege of using the finest ingredients and working with some of Melbourne's iconic chefs.
After having my daughter I went back to school and completed my certificate 3 & 4 in fitness to help people improve their health & well-being in an additional way. This sparked my interest in healthy food, without added sugar and oils, rich in protein and nutrients that can be enjoyed by all the family as well as athletes and people with different dietary needs. From this I created
Muesli with no added sugar, oil or dairy and gluten free!
Over 20yrs later I still love cooking, entertaining and providing good food for my family, friends and lovers of fine food.
Good Thyme Gourmet is the culmination of this experience, developing my own brand, The Artisan Pantry and joining forces with a like-minded soul with complimentary skills and personality. The whole is greater than the sum of the parts.
I was raised on home cooking where much of the produce was picked from my parent’s garden and the food values installed in me were very much ‘why buy, when you can make it yourself’!
I trained as a chemist and worked in the pharmaceutical industry before having my family. Once the kids came along I looked for a career that I could combine with my passion for cooking.
Back in the UK I started a traditional catering company using fresh produce where possible.
On emigrating to Australia I decided to create another new business – this time based on the ethos of completely natural foods that are also gluten-free and refined sugar-free.
This has grown and evolved and I am now looking forward to broadening the horizons with Good Thyme Gourmet. Amazing food but still staying with the fundamentals of clean, natural and nutritious food.
